A month has passed  and the rankings have changed - especially for Warcraft 3. Two major events, in fact the Continental Finals of the Extreme Masters Event in Chengdu, Asia and the PGL Season IV made an impact on the G7 ranking. Both events had a large number of top ten players participating which made the point pool fairly heavy.

On the contrary the first month of 2009 seemed to be quite calm for major Counter-Strike 1.6 events which led to the circumstance of an unchanged ranking.
